During winter months, the crew switches to kite fishing techniques that put live baits at the surface where sailfish feed aggressively. Reef and wreck drops produce yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, grouper, and amberjack. Bull sharks, blacktip sharks, and occasional hammerheads add heavy-tackle excitement when you want something different.
