By booking a fishing charter with Cowboy Cowgirl Sportfishing ("we," "our," or "us") or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation.
Booking and Reservations
Reservation Requirements
- All bookings require a valid credit card or payment method
- A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking
- Booking confirmation will be sent via email
- Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled departure
Party Size
Each vessel has a maximum capacity for safety reasons. Private charters accommodate up to 6 passengers unless otherwise specified. All passengers must be accounted for at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellations
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
- 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund or reschedule with possible fee
- Less than 24 hours: No refund; full charter rate charged
- No-shows: No refund; full charter rate charged
Weather Cancellations
Safety is our top priority. If the captain determines that weather conditions are unsafe for fishing, we will:
- Offer to reschedule your trip at no additional charge
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
- Make the final decision on weather-related cancellations
Note: Light rain or wind does not typically cancel trips. The captain's decision is final regarding weather safety.

- Bait and ice
- Florida fishing licenses for all passengers
- Fish cleaning services

What to Bring
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Hat and appropriate clothing
- Food and beverages (no glass containers)
- Camera
- Seasickness medication if needed
Prohibited Items
- Bananas (fishing superstition!)
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Weapons
Safety and Conduct
All passengers must:
- Follow all safety instructions from the captain and crew
- Remain seated when the boat is moving at high speed
- Wear appropriate footwear (no bare feet)
- Not engage in reckless or dangerous behavior
- Not be under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs
The captain reserves the right to return to port and end the trip early if any passenger's behavior endangers themselves, others, or the vessel. No refund will be provided in such cases.
Catch Policy
- We practice catch and release for certain species
- All fishing is subject to Florida fishing regulations
- The captain will advise on what fish can be kept
- We cannot guarantee specific catches
Liability and Assumption of Risk
Fishing and boating involve inherent risks. By participating in our charters, you acknowledge and accept these risks. We are not liable for:
- Personal injury except in cases of our negligence
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Seasickness or other physical discomfort
- Failure to catch fish
Gratuities
Gratuities for the captain and crew are not included in charter rates but are customary and appreciated. A typical gratuity is 15-20% of the charter price for good service.
Gift Certificates
- Gift certificates never expire
- Gift certificates are transferable
- Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash
- Lost or stolen gift certificates may be replaced with proof of purchase
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is owned by Cowboy Cowgirl Sportfishing and protected by copyright laws.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
